This device makes the experience of Analogue Virtual Reality possible.
It was made for presentation at a small festival held in the former prison of Vridsløselille.
Up to the 1930ies, prisoners had to wear hoods that should grant them anonymity and better them in their isolation.
The virtual reality device is worn on the head. Mirrors lead the view onto watercolour paintings of plants on rotating wheels. Rotation is triggered by a leather strap attached to the user´s knee.
